From a young age, Ludovic Buthiaux has been drawn to contrasts and individual richness. Influenced by his mother, a woman with a strongly feminine presence both in her demeanor and clothing—she would only trade her heels for the boxing ring during her training. Ludovic, shaped by his perspective on gender also through dance, developed a love for costumes, spotlights, and theatrical presentations. Adding these to his origins, Ludovic realizes that his message will embody a fashion that is rich, assertive, inherently sexy, and liberated from conventions.

Leaving the French Riviera at 18 to study in Paris, Ludovic Buthiaux graduates from Atelier Chardon Savard and hones his craft alongside remarkable Couture archives at fashion houses such as Rochas, Emanuel Ungaro, and Irié.

In 2022, he launches his eponymous brand
